Dad had the Basal Cell Carcinoma removed on Wednesday. The Dermatologist did a great job. Now it is just waiting for the scar to heal. The sutures are to be removed next Wednesday.
Here is the drawing of the Carcinoma to be cut out and the lines of where the incision needs to be to get it all and to make the repair the best as possible. This was a sore that just wouldn't heal. It has been there for a long time and was not getting worse, just not any better.

How fun it must be for dad now to have such a scar across his face like a swashbuckler or a vagabond, or an old (did I say "old"?) retired mercinary. Definately not the victim of cancer. I hope that you will post another pic when the scar heals so we can see how he is doing. I am glad that dad is well and that the doc did a good job taking care of him.
